Since getting together Karen and I have a number of trips around Australia and one overseas trip. Having children with us made it easier to make use of the family holiday house in Inverloch. Since this was sold in 2013 we have begun to do trips away from Inverloch again; and it’s great!
Kayak beached for the night
Rock formation at Albany
Beechworth Post Office
A vacation to take in the fine sights of the Great Ocean Road, plus a few days to show the boys South Australia.
After the Inverloch holiday house was sold we lost easy access to our Christmas and summer holiday destination.
Taking the car on the ferry was a wonderful new experience, and enjoying driving around Tasmania in our own car.
Canberra and places en-route, September-2012 Our first holiday interstate together as a family. Visiting Junee, Canberra, Thurlmere, Mittagong, NSW South Coast, Buchan Caves, Lakes Entrance and Inverloch.
Our first and last trip with only one child Kyle! We visited Ballarat, Bendigo and Echuca along the way ending up at the opening ceremony of Crane’s Bridge in Mathoura.
A tour of the beautiful Snowy Mountains, staying at Jindabyne and Mallacoota on the way home.
A vacation to visit some friends rarely seen and to see some of the sights we’ve never seen, like Fraser Island.
After a long break, a holiday to South Australia. The last time I was in South Australia was many years ago before settling down. With Karen I got most of the sights done except for the National Railway Museum; and Karen wasn’t going to remind me!
Another trip north, this time taking a ride on the Zig Zag railway and another visit to Wauchope.
Flying to Tasmania and self driving with an excellent rental car. This was a two week trip taking in most of the sights around on both the east and western coasts of Tasmania.
